Tim Curry returns to the big screen tonight via “Stream”!

From the team behind the Terrorbringer Movies, Release of legendary events brings Electricity TODAY in cinemas across the country, 21 August 2024with limited screenings until August 25th.

The film’s cast is packed with familiar faces and horror icons, and Variety reveals this week that Tim Curry has a top secret appearance in the bloody horror film!

Variety reports this afternoon: “The experienced actor will play a character in the horror film Electricitywhich opens in selected cinemas on Wednesday. It will be his first feature film role since the 2010 comedy Burke & Harealthough he has since worked on many animation projects as a voice actor.” Variety notes in its report: “He also appeared in the 2016 television film remake The Rocky Horror Picture Show on Fox.”

“It was really hard to keep this secret and contain our excitement, especially over such a long period of time,” said director Michael Leavy said in a statement. “We are so happy and excited to bring Tim back to the cinema and back to the big screen! His charm always shines and shines through everything he does and we are so honored to have him as part of Electricity! He is someone I personally have idolized since I was a kid and it is one of the highlights of my life to be able to work with him, especially on a project that means so much to me. We can't wait for fans to sit back and enjoy our film in theaters, hopefully with a huge crowd having a blast together! This is how horror films are meant to be seen and enjoyed. “Electricity is a modernized slasher made by horror fans for horror fans, and we are extremely excited and honored to bring this film to the big screen for audiences to enjoy together,” Leavy tells Variety. “We have an incredible cast of genre greats delivering outstanding performances, and of course we have Terrorists Damien Leone and Phil Falcone “As gore effects directors, we made sure we gave our incredible fan base what we needed, but we're most proud of the story and the thrilling character development.”

The film states: “As the Keenans attempt to bring their family closer together, they unwittingly find themselves caught in a game of life and death. With four crazed killers patrolling the halls of their hotel and competing for the most creative murders, the odds are definitely against them.”
