Kings Plaza Shopping Center is a co-sponsor of the Back-to-School Carnival

MILL BASIN — The Kings Plaza shopping center in Mill Basin is hosting a back-to-school carnival next Saturday, Aug. 24, to celebrate the new school year for the district’s children.. Kings Plaza, part of the Macerich group of commercial real estate operators and partnering with CaribStar Radio for the event, will also donate $2,500 to a local public school. Carnival attractions include games, prizes, face painting, balloon artists, music and giveaways. Additionally, carnival-goers who present their same-day receipts of $50 or more from select Kings Plaza retailers will receive a backpack full of school supplies while supplies last. Retailers sponsoring and participating in this promotion include Old Navy, H&M, A|X Armani Exchange, Guess, Cotton On & Cotton On Kids, Clarks, Adidas, Famous Footwear, ULTA, Windsor, American Eagle Outfitters, Zumiez, Sunglass Hut, ALDO Accessories, Hot Topic, Spencer's, The Children's Place, Snipes, Pink, Hollister Co., Aeropostale, Kay Jewelers, Journeys Kids and Five below.

Kings Plaza joins more than 45 Macerich Properties and offices nationwide donating more than $125,000 to children's charities this back-to-school season.
