How to get reduced admission to the PNE trade fair using public transport

TransLink is once again operating a special express shuttle bus between SkyTrain and Hastings Park for the PNE show, and you can save on admission by using public transport.

From August 17 to September 2, PNE special bus route #16 will run between the Expo Line's 29th Avenue Station, the Millennium Line's Renfrew Station, and in front of the PNE Fair entrance next to the Pacific Coliseum.

The express bus runs every 15 minutes in each direction on all days that the PNE Fair is open. The first bus departs the 29th Avenue Station at 9:34 a.m. and the last bus leaves the Pacific Coliseum at 12:07 a.m.

And to make your show experience even better, TransLink and PNE are offering two tickets for the price of one to the first 5,000 customers who present their Compass Card or fare receipt at the entrance gate on Friday, August 23 and Friday, August 3.

Regular admission for 2024 is $25 daytime or $20 pre-purchase (online) for ages 19 to 64, $16 daytime or $14 pre-purchase for youth ages 13 to 18 and seniors ages 65 and older, $9 daytime or $7 pre-purchase for youth ages four to 12, and is free for children ages three and under. This does not include ride fares.

Cost: $25 for adults, $16 for youth and seniors, $9 for children, and free for children under three. Save $5 on adult tickets and $2 on youth, child, and senior tickets when you purchase in advance online. Tickets can be purchased in advance, and season passes are also available.
