UGC NET 2024 Exam: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the release of advance notification slips for candidates appearing in the University Grants Commission-National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) 2024. The exam is scheduled to be held on August 28, 29 and 30 and September 2, 3 and 4, 2024. Registered candidates can now access the advance notification slips for candidates by visiting the official UGC-NET website – ugcnet.nta.ac.in. To download the slips, candidates need to log in with their application number and date of birth. These slips provide candidates with important information about the city where their exam center is located so that they can make the necessary arrangements in advance.

“NTA is now displaying the advance notification regarding allotment of examination venues for UGC – NET June 2024 to be held on 28th, 29th and 30th August 2024 and 02nd, 03rd and 04th September 2024,” the official notification said. These city notification slips contain important information about the location of the examination centre so that the candidates can plan their travel and accommodation arrangements well in advance. NTA is expected to release the official admit cards two to three days before the examination dates.

• Visit the official website of UGC NET at ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
• Click on the link to City Notification Form for UGC NET 2024 available on the homepage.
• A new page will appear on the screen.
• Enter your login details and click the “Send” button.
• Your exam location will be displayed on the screen.
• Check the details, download the receipt and print it.

UGC NET exam in June 2024

The UGC NET June 2024 exam, which was originally scheduled for June 18 but was postponed, is now scheduled to be held in a computer-based testing (CBT) format in 83 subjects from August 21 to September 4. The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that an exam originally scheduled for August 26, 2024, will be postponed to August 27, 2024, due to Krishna Janmashtami celebrations. The earlier postponement of the exam was due to allegations of a paper leak, which were found to be baseless during subsequent investigations.
