The Flagstaff Arizona weather service announced that another busy day is in store across northern Arizona today with showers and thunderstorms from late morning into the evening. The main hazards are gusty/erratic winds, small hail, frequent lightning and heavy rain. The storm's motion will be mainly northwest at 10-15 mph.

Prescott Valley

Showers and thunderstorms are likely today, mainly between 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Partly sunny, high around 30 °C. Light and variable winds coming from the south at 8 to 16 km/h in the morning. Gusts can reach 24 km/h. The probability of precipitation is 60%.

Tonight there is a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms before 8 p.m. Partly cloudy, with a low around 66. South wind around 5 mph becoming light in the evening.

Sedona

Showers and thunderstorms are likely today, mainly between 2:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Partly sunny, high around 91. Light and variable wind becoming southeast 5 to 8 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Tonight there is a 20% chance of showers and thunderstorms before 8 p.m. Partly cloudy, with a low around 72. Southeast wind around 6 mph, light, variable.

Flagstaff

Showers and thunderstorms are likely today, mainly between 11:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Partly sunny, high around 79. Light and variable wind becoming southerly 5 to 10 mph in the morning. Gusts may reach 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 70%.

Tonight there is a 30% chance of showers and thunderstorms before 8 p.m. Partly cloudy, with a low around 55. Southwest wind around 5 mph becoming light in the evening.
